Great location

Location was fantastic...right on the seafront. We had a great view of the beach and promenade from our balcony. Supermarket, restaurants and bus stop only a minute away.

Too many steps up to our apartment but that's the price you pay for such a fantastic view.

I really enjoyed my stay and will return.

Location in Puerto del Carmen was ideal - quiet but near the 'strip'. Staff were incredible. Breakfast was good and served really efficiently. Reception really helpful. Housekeeping was good

Basic but good value for money.

The pool was great really big and clean, the beach being so close is also brilliant. The beds were comfortable which is good, I have known much better places have much worse beds. The spar being across the road from the complex is really handy. The breakfast was basic but good and a fair amount to choose from, it wasn't 5 star but we weren't paying 5 star prices. All in all cheap and cheerful it was everything we needed and good value for money.

The apartment was VERY basic and smelled weird I think it might have been the drains and because it rained a lot while we were there we struggled getting stuff dry.

I will be booking Costa Mar again for next year .

Lovely complex , very friendly staff , and reception . I have to mention Rachel/Raquel who is a fantastic friendly and helpful lady who made our stay very pleasant..

I booked two apartments and as requested they were side by side and close to the pool . The only issue I had was that 1 of them was very dated and needs upgrade.

It's in a very quiet area with a massive beach straight across the road. Lovely clear water. There were restaurants and shops in either direction from where we were. A brilliant walk way and bicycle track. Very close to airport.

Air con would have been amazing. Our room had a terrace which wasn't as handy as a balcony on the plus side there was nobody staying above us and scraping furniture and making noise. The door handle was falling off. We were unable to book the room for late check out and while there is a baggage room and shower facilities, the shower facilities are actually in one of the apartment blocks while the baggage room is close to reception. A shower room close to the baggage area would have been much handier.

No air-con, unfortunately during a 45C week. Cleanliness or floors was not excellent. Pool a bit small for so many apartments and guests.

Good, clean quiet and basic base for a stay.

The pools were nice but cold but ok once in and you got used to it, Extremely quiet and very relaxing, There was no mad rush for beds and we always found a spot. There was no loud music around the pool. Staff also said inflatables for children were not allowed. However, some people did use this and it was not a problem at all. For the amount of child guests that were there I think they should allow floaties especially as there is a child pool and a good spot to teach children to swim. Apartments are located next to a spa for food shopping and a few restaurants are a bit further walk along the beach and more restaurants could be found.

The wi-fi signal could be so much better. It was very hit and miss and you had to keep connecting for a poor service. We paid an extra 23 euro for wi-fi but it kept cutting out.The cleaners also left the apartment doors wide open after cleaning which we reported to the reception. They apparently told the cleaners about this but it continued to happen 2 times more which was alarming. This should have been a higher priority as we were concerned about people getting in and theft from the property. The kitchen hobs did not heat up properly and need updating as there were no numbers on dial

Lovely quiet location, easy access to the busier shopping centers etc.

Great location, very close to the beach. Eurospar across the road was so handy for essential needs. The pool was clean and not so packed. Balconies are private so no one overlooking you.

The apartment was a little dated but comfortable. We had a 2 ring hob for cooking but it took an hour to heat up before anything would cook. We were a little disappointed in having to ask for cleaning and clean towels etc on day 5.

Good location, avoid the good if you are looking for quality

Location is perfect, just in front of a big playa. Big and spacious, staff was polite

Furniture and general equipment inside the flat are minimal (not even a dish detergent). Level quality of the food is really basic. Especially if you are expecting fresh and healthy options, this is not the place (Lanzarote in general is really not for real foodies people). We are Italian, living in Madrid and i can say that the general quality level of the food in Lanzarote is very low (and this hotel is not an expectation).
